The ART IN A CORNER Story

50 years after The Beatles, some of the biggest names in music have come together to produce their own versions of Images of a Woman.

Each participating group received a special art kit – provided by art specialists Cass Art – with materials chosen to match those used by The Beatles in 1966.

With the help of Parcel Hero, the kits were shipped thousands of miles around the UK and beyond – as far afield as Vancouver and Salt Lake City. Extra packing was provided by Fencor to protect the kits en route.

The kits even included lamps – provided by Shine Lighting and Heathfield & Co – so that the ART IN A CORNER artists could paint around them, just like the Fab Four.

Like The Beatles, most of the participants have signed their names in a blank circle – left behind by the lamp – at the centre of their paintings.

The kits were shipped thousands of miles around the UK and beyond…

Framed by specialists Menor, with frames supplied by Arqadia, the paintings are going on show in a series of exhibitions around the UK, held throughout September and October with Cass Art and Pretty Green.

We really hope you enjoy the art that has been produced for ART IN A CORNER.
